Did you follow the 4coredual-sat2 Vista procedure at the bottom of the page? The connections you do not have hooked up, you can leave unconnected and the computer will work, although you probably will not have sound.

Select your operating system in the “OS” drop-menu. After updating, make sure you are using the best BIOS settings.
Click on parsec’s or my PC Specs in any of our posts and you’ll see how quickly and easily anyone can view our setups. Right now we don’t know which ASRock bios version you have installed and running in your system.

You can also use Realtek’s own mixer. The procedure in the Windows Vista paragraph at the bottom of page 12 is probably required with win7.
